Wednesday 20 November 2013
2.30pm-3.30pm, Room 310, Watson Building

Join EMREM and Dr Ruth Connolly from Newcastle University for a behind-the-scenes look at editing. In this workshop, Dr Connolly will share her expertise and advice on all elements of the editing process: from transcription, to collation, to annotation and beyond! If you’ve no idea how to get started, or if you’re in the process of editing a text and have a specific question to ask, then this is the workshop for you! Drinks and biscuits will be provided.

Afterwards, Dr Connolly will be presenting at the CREMS seminar on ‘Editing as a Critical Act: Reading the Complete Poetry of Robert Herrick’, so feel free to join us there to see what promises to be a fascinating paper!
